Little Mermaid is your favorite movie? That is only because she wears shells. Some of you like to wear shells with jeans even! Unreal! — LOL

Just wanted to take a moment to share something that the Lord has shown me. That is the miracles in which I am surrounded by. Without getting in to too much details of anyones personal lives, I will explain. I just noticed that the people that I am closest too, truly have awesome testimonies!

Sheree! You have an awesome testimony of the Lord’s grace. I remember when you left the academy and you came to a volleyball game – I remember looking at you and thinking how pretty you were and at the same time how sad you looked – its strange how I have such a visual memory like that of you, because I don’t have many like that – then last night in church as you were leading worship [um hello - MIRACLE] — I looked at you and thought – she is beautiful in Christ! Who would have known that sad pretty girl – had a plan set before her to be used by the Lord!

Joe! Another amazing testimony, one of the Lord’s faithfulness. You have been delivered! Delivered after much of the Lord continuing after you for years. When you never knew He was there – He was there calling your name and you responded to that call. Now instead of turning to other vices, you turn the Your Lord Jesus Christ – that is a miracle!

Sil! Yours is a testimony of the Lords power for us to be victorious. I can’t count the number of times that I may look at you in church and just begin to thank the Lord for you! He never stopped listening to you! He never stopped trying to get back in to your heart. He redeemed you! Some fitting lyrics:

The very same God that spins things in orbit
He runs to the weary, the worn and the weak
And the same gentle hands that hold me when I’m broken
They conquered death to bring me victory

Oh, Sil, you had the VICTORY! That is a miracle! So keep trying, you have more victories ahead!

There are so many more – another entry will have to be my family members! The Lord is so good! Oh thank you Lord for the Miracles in the lives of those around me!!!

Yes! So some of the “Original Jessica Clan” assembled tonight! Jeremy pointed out that him, sil and I were the only ones there that were “originals.” I was just more excited that it was named after me! Those were back in the days when I was cool. I am not cool anymore. [Sil you are the cool one now]

Jeanette tried convincing us that she was an original and Jerm quickly called her an “Add-On” and then said to everyone else so how are the rest of you “Add-Ons” doing?

Ahh the old clan – who were the originals – Sil and I were of course the center of it. Obviously Jeremy. Another obvious, was Justin. Alot of names are coming to mind – just don’t if they fall under the “clan?” Renee, Jim, Mike, Cha, Josh, Alex, Andrew ? ?

How long wilt thou sleep, O sluggard? when wilt thou arise out of thy sleep?

Ok so Laurin Smith just laughed at my “JLa” you mean like “JLo” – I said NO!! I had it way before JLo was JLo – I WAS JLA first! My email address got messed up at SUNY Oswego and my name was listed as Jessica Jean Barge La and email addresses were first letter of your name with your last name – therefore my first email address was jla@oswego.edu !!! I win.

So I have to figure this all out. I said to Sil earlier when am I ever going to have to time to “blog” – she pointed out that I will have time over the summer. Just another thing in life to be distracted by. I am sure I will post pictures. We all love pictures. I wish I had this last week while I was on vacation – would have had a lot of time and a lot of nonsense to share.
