Momma Jean

so here are a few pictures from the trip so far ….

The first one I would title … “You know you are at gramma’s when …. there is a whole shelf of pcitures of you”

day-2-44Faith called this picture “Russian Split Attempt” – I think that is a pretty good attempt!

day-2-48This one has a story.  My gramma gave us 2 towels to take to the beach.  Umm, they are paper thin! I am pretty sure the towels are older than me.  So it was windy at Clearwater Beach (great beach, btw) and the towel got completely covered with sand.  When I went to pick it up, the fair amount of sand in the towel, made it rip in the middle as you can see from the first picture. As you can see from the pictures, by the end be decided it now makes a great poncho! LOL.day-2-47I am going to title this “CJ I wish you were here” … hee hee …. actually she was prolly looking at Bije — yea, the dog whose owners were chatting our heads off and when then proceeded to run into them again at the grocery store as the woman walked around with there dog on her back. Oh wait what did they drive Faith? One of those ole VW Vans.day-1-40

When it seemed impossible that help could come, help did come; for God has His own resources. He is not confined. In ten thousand different ways, and at ten thousand different times God may help us. Our business is to spread our cases before the Lord, in childlike simplicity to pour out all our heart before God, saying,”I do not deserve that Thou shouldst hear me and answer my requests, but for the sake of my precious Lord Jesus; for His sake answer my prayer, and give me grace quietly to wait till it please Thee to answer my prayer. For I believe Thou wilt do it in Thine own time and way.”"For I shall yet praise him.”More prayer, more exercise of faith, more patient waiting, and the result will be blessing, abundant blessing. Thus I have found it many hundreds of times, and therefore I continually say to myself, “Hope thou in God.” –George Mueller

… Cafe Kubal is a little coffee shop on James Street connected to the Parable Book Store (formerly known as Sacred Melody) that I have gone to a handful times in the past year, but due to the closing of Starbucks near by, I am coming to appreciate this little coffee shop.

They have good coffee! Today Jess Reals and I went and got some coffees. She got a Cafe Mocha first and the Barista handed it over with a design drawn in the foam. We ooo-ed and ahhh-ed. Then with the help of the Barista I decided to get a Quad Shot Macchiato. It was great and also with a design in the foam.

So if you want a good coffee near by …. many of us are coming to appreciate and promote this little cafe … now they just need an area to chill out at. (They do have an outdoor patio … who wants to meet for coffee this spring ? :) )
